Set of ponds that run parallel to the west of the wall, next to the Almovodar gate.
A large pond, measuring 33 meters long by 3.6 meters wide, made of opus caementicium and covered with a special waterproofing cement, opus signinum. Surely, it had a cover, perhaps made of wood, as we can deduce from the setback that we observe at its edges. At the upper end, the structure presents a setback whose purpose, probably, was the placement of a wooden cover to close and hide the interior of the tank.
Large L-shaped pond with two low arch bridges and a white railing that allow crossing them through the longest section of the L. Between the two bridges a wall is adorned with triangular shapes of blue glass.

This square was always equipped with a public fountain, however, during the 20th century it lost this infrastructure due to the reforms of said square.
Ramírez de Arellano tells us that the fountain that is currently located in the Plaza de la Paja must have been the original pylon of this square and that it was replaced by another one called “de la romana” of which no data is preserved. Later, the fountain that today is located in the Plaza de l Vizconde de Miranda was installed.
Small wall fountain or two-spout drinking fountain made of mined stone and with a central medallion with the shield of the city in bronze.
It is a long pylon with two pipes at its smaller ends, all made of unpolished mine stone. Two stone platforms are located under each pipe so that the jugs could be supported while they were filled with water.
It consists of a splendid rectangular pillar of black stone, with semicircular widenings in the central area of both major sides and a slightly inset profile of the minor sides; its plant reaches dimensions of 6 x 4 m. and 65 cm. high parapet. It has two drains located respectively in the northwest and southeast corners of the construction, inside the pillar. The two pilasters for the assortment of water are located at each of its smaller ends; they reach 2.50 m. high and have a square section of 80 cm. sideways at the base and 60 cm.
Lafuente is made of limestone and dark baroque marble. With an octagonal plant and a cup inside that is shaped like four lobes (which give it an airy appearance with very moving lines) and on this second cup a central spout shaped like a bulbous pinnacle.
Fountain separated from the wall 55 cm., It consists of two parts, a pillar carved in black marble, made up of 5 stone slabs, whose height ranges between 75 and 85 cm. due to the unevenness of the terrain. Both on the upper and lower edge, there is a highlight, carved in the same stones that form the pillar.
