Fuente de la plaza Pontevedra

It is a modernist style fountain located in the center of the Victoria Gardens, behind the Kiosk de la Música. The circular cup was made of gray micritic limestone, garnished with rectangular inlays of pink marble. In the center it has a pedestal in the shape of an amphora with garlands, supported by two reclining figures of Atlanteans. On the sides of the amphora, two raised masks pour the water that flows from their mouths into the cup (LÓPEZ Y POVEDANO, 1987).
