Description

Fountain separated from the wall 55 cm., It consists of two parts, a pillar carved in black marble, made up of 5 stone slabs, whose height ranges between 75 and 85 cm. due to the unevenness of the terrain. Both on the upper and lower edge, there is a highlight, carved in the same stones that form the pillar.
The front is developed with an attached pilaster, supported by a 55 cm cubic black marble base. high, in the center of which sprouts the pipe. This central pilaster has a sandstone carving and contemplates in its lower area an inscription carved directly on the stone, with the founding date "1809". Above the pilaster, a white marble plate with the Cordoba coat of arms is attached to it by means of four iron brackets or staples. At the bottom of the pediment there are two stone slats that accompany the vertical direction of the pillar, widening at its base by means of helical volutes. The set is finished off by a spire with different volumes.

Source of water

Supply network. In ancient times it was supplied with a straw of water from the spring called “de la Palma. It is supplied with water from the "King's Hat"
