Fuente del Templete
Description
Structure like a temple, built in white marble. On a circular base stand 5 pillars that support a vaulted structure. A hexagonal piloncillo with a small fountain in its center serves as a drinking trough for the numerous pigeons that live in its vicinity.
It is located on the boulevard del Gran Capitán, at its closest end to San Nicolás. The fountain was built as a pavilion in memory of the pavilions that existed in the same location in the second half of the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century. Its curious shape and the fact that it is a common area for birds to visit has given it the popular name of El Bebedero de Palomas
